Our wedding finally happened! It was truly the perfect day, and the best day of my life!
I spent the wedding week working on finishing everything, which wasn’t how I imagined I would spend it but I am who I am.
Friday was our rehearsal, which started thirty minutes late because I had a meltdown about my dress. Dinner ran quite slow and we later learned that not enough time was allotted for a dinner with such a large group - that was on the venue. We showed up quite late to our meet & mingle but brought dessert with us so that was fun! I belatedly learned how expensive the drinks were there versus the regular bar, so that was also a bit annoying and on the venue but it is what it is.
Saturday was incredible. Everything was on time, the weather was absolutely perfect, and every single thing absolutely took my breath away.
Sunday we had an incredible coffee hour and brunch - compliments to the venue. The bloody mary bar was massive and the mimosas were great too! Unfortunately the weather took a turn and our sunset cruise became a downpour disaster - we were tired, wet, and hungry, but 17/33 of us still set sail on the rainy seas.
That said, I am so grateful to everyone who came and who spent time with us over the month of October - some people came in before our wedding, some people stayed afterward, and some traveled just for one night - but we loved spending time with all of our loved ones and had the most fun!
