The One About How We Met

There’s not too much to elaborate on here - I had just gotten myself back onto the dating apps and historically I’d had a hard time starting conversations with people so I forced myself to message a couple guys on Hinge that I wasn’t really interested in dating (that made it less intimidating to talk to them). Evan had decided he was ready to start dating so he made a Bumble profile; we both paid for subscriptions and matched within days of doing so. On Bumble the female has to start the conversation so I asked what fun board games he’d played recently since that was a shared interest. He was easy to talk to and he wasted no time planning our first date, which is another tough thing you run into sometimes on the apps (taking it offline).
