The One With The Pre-Anniversary

How special to have our wedding date picked out over a year in advance, and to be able to celebrate our upcoming nuptials by taking our engagement photos with our wedding photographer on exactly that date, one year before?!

We had perfect weather and the perfect outfits - we can only hope the same will be true for one year from then! We had Brooke take a few photos before and after our official session and we had so much fun. It was great to meet our wedding photographer, Randall Garnick, and get to know him prior to the big day. He did a lovely job and we had so much fun looking at each other and smiling. We got to include Bentley, which is so special, and also brought a game from our first date! The Arnold Arboretum is a beautiful space, especially in the fall, and we were lucky it wasn’t too crowded!

We started the morning with a run, just as we will do on our wedding day! I got my nails done a couple days before and then in the early afternoon I got my hair and makeup done by Victoria at Wildflower Hair Studio so I was definitely feeling myself! Brooke came over to help us with Bentley and we asked her to be part of our wedding crew & help coordinate our special day! After the photos, Evan and I had dinner together near our apartment and made a toast to our wedding date!
