It takes a village to plan a wedding and we’re so lucky to have the support of our people!

  • Maid of Honor : Brigid Bohan

    BFF of the bride.

Even before I left Michigan, Brigid made Boston feel like home.. and that’s probably why I never left! We’ve spent many nights having the most fun and some nights just being there for each other; I’m so lucky to call her a forever friend.

BONUS FACT: Brigid was Melissa’s first friend in Boston and they once could wave to each other from their balconies!

  • Matron of Honor : Ashley Wahl

    Sister of the bride.

Being one of the first people to know that my sister was pregnant is such a special memory for me, and then she went and gave birth to my niece on my birthday, which made it a thousand times more special! I have truly enjoyed watching Ashley grow in her career, become a wife to Bobby, and take on motherhood to Madison and Natalie in the best way possible - as herself. She’s a total badass who will call you on your bullshit and knows how to have a good time.

  • Matron of Honor : Katie Fitzgerald

    Sister of the bride.

When Katie came to visit for girls weekend she was determined to find me a husband, and that’s when I got to tell her I already had someone in mind! She’s the first person that called me when I lost Lucy, my first dog, because she knew I would not be okay. I’m so grateful for her love and support and for sharing her family with me. My sister is an incredibly talented wife to Brandon and mom to Brody, Bryce, and Kendall; I want to be just like her one day.

  • Bridesman : Chris Arcand

    Brother of the bride.

Chris is my big brother - he has always looked out for me and protected me from the time our families merged to become the Brady Bunch. He was the first one to get married and have kids, and we all have learned so much from him. He’s an amazing husband to Melissa and father to Kaeden and Bryn and I know he’ll be right there, as he always has been, if I ever need anything.

  • Best Man : Louis DaRos

    Friend of the groom.

I met Lou at a board gaming meet-up over a decade ago. Ever since, Lou and his wife, Colleen, have been my second family. From watching their children Anthony and Abby grow up to simply enjoying another board game night, every day we are together is always the most special day. I am so grateful to be part of their wonderful lives and I look forward to every moment I spend with them.

BONUS FACT: Lou is an amazing cook and we’re hoping he and Colleen will help us choose our wedding menu!

  • Groomsman: Jon Fletcher

    Friend of the groom.

I remember interviewing Jon to join my team at US Bank many years ago. We quickly became friends and before I knew it I was the one reporting to him. I would not be where I am today without Jon’s support and love. When Jon is around there is always something new to learn or experience. Jon is one of the most positive people I have ever met and life is simply better with him there.

  • Groomswoman : Michaela Konig

    Sister of the groom.

When I was eight I learned that Michaela was going to be my little sister. Michaela is one of the strongest people I know. She is somehow fiercely independent but also so caring and warm. My first memory of Michaela is her learning how to swim and even back then she was the epitome of determination. She inspires me every day and I am so lucky to have her in my life.

BONUS FACT: Michaela is recently engaged to Trevor and is a talented esthetician who owns her own business!

  • Groomswoman : Lydia Shulman

Close friend of the bride & groom.

We met Lydia only a few years ago but it feels like we’ve known her all our lives. If Lydia is playing a board game with you everyone else at the table is automatically competing for second place. Not only is she one of the smartest people we have met, she is also one of the most supportive. Lydia has gone on so many countless adventures with us all over the country. She is always there with a smile, a joke, and an Avatar reference.

BONUS FACT: Lydia was the creative genius behind Evan’s proposal and helped him execute his plan to perfection.

  • Officiant / Bridesman : Brian Ross

    Brother of the bride.

I have always been a tiny bit envious of Brian and his ability to talk to anyone - I’m outgoing, but this guy takes the cake. There’s nothing more fun (or annoying) than a spirited debate with my brother, and this is why, when Bobby became unavailable, we knew he was the only other person that could officiate our wedding! He’s a stellar husband to Ashley and father to Danny, and I know he’d be able to pull off the role if I ever needed a body double.

  • Honorary Wedding Crew : Bobby Jaycox

Close friend of the bride & groom.

It’s impossible to be in the same room with Bobby and have a frown on your face. Bobby lights up every room he enters and inspires every friend he makes. Bobby is the kind of person who may be doing dozens of different things but will stop everything to support those he loves. Thank you Bobby for being you and we love having your in our lives.

BONUS FACT: Bobby was so delighted when we asked him to marry us that he broke into dance! We are overjoyed for his brother, who will share our wedding day a few states away in Pennsylvania, and we definitely forgive him for stealing this absolute icon on our special day.

  • Wedding Crew : Brooke Alfson

    Close friend of the bride.

Brooke is a core person in my world and I’m so happy she moved back to Boston this year! We met through work but bonded even more during COVID and share the same taste in jewelry. She loves animals, possibly more than I do, and is an absolute advocate for her friends and family, and honestly for every living being on the planet. She gives bomb advice and helped carry me through the learning curve of being in a relationship - I’m so thankful she’s helping coordinate our day!

  • Wedding Crew : TBD

  • Parents : Kathie and John Arcand

Mother & stepfather of the bride.

Scientifically I wouldn’t be here without my parents, but it’s their love and stewardship that have gotten me to this point. They have always been there for me, even when I thought I could do things myself, and it’s because of them I’ve learned to have the courage to go out and live my life my own way. I hope they know how truly indebted I am to them for giving me this life and I only hope I can return the favor someday.

BONUS FACT: John & Kathie winter in Fort Myers, Florida, where they’ve made a whole new neighborhood of friends. Watch out for these guys, they’re the life of the party!

  • Parents : Lisa and Matt Ross

Father & stepmother of the bride.

Having been to five continents and well over forty countries, my parents have inspired me to experience life to the fullest! I am exceptionally grateful for their love and support all the way from Take Your Daughter to Work Day to planning my wedding. I’m so lucky to have had such successful role models to help guide me to where I am today and instilling family game night into my very core.

BONUS FACT: These two Florida residents are constantly on the cruise! Ask them anything, they are vacation connoisseurs.

  • Parents : Jenny and Tom Wolverton

Mother & stepfather of the groom.

My mom is a fundamental part of who I am and my personal hero. From working countless jobs to supporting family members in need for decades she is selfless, hard working, and a daily inspiration. When she reconnected with Tom, all those years of hard work paid off; Tom is the light of her life and they have found such happiness together.

The first impression of Tom is usually one of a goofy but loving person. However, Tom is also a wonderful musician, caring father, and supportive husband. He is truly a man of many talents and our lives are far more wonderful with Tom in them.

  • Parents : Lynette and Mike Konig

Father & stepmother of the groom.

I wouldn't be the person I am today without the loving care of my father and stepmother.

My father Michael is the intellectual rock of our family. His advice and guidance has been instrumental in helping our family navigate the murky waters of life. He spent countless hours educating me about politics, US history, or just telling me stories about his baseball career.

My stepmother Lynette is the emotional and spiritual rock of our family. She has been the first person I call if I am in trouble, need help navigating life, or just need someone to talk to. Lynette has boundless compassion for her family and I hope to one day reciprocate a fraction of the love she shows all of us.
