MIDA

Mida is an Italian place in our neighborhood, just over a mile walk from the Hyatt and a few minutes walk from MBTA Blue Line Maverick station. We’ve gone on a couple of dates here! The cocktails and the pasta are great!

The Quiet Few

The Quiet Few is a very small bar that can get pretty crowded, but they supposedly have one of the top five burgers in Boston!

Downeast Cider House

Open Thursday-Sunday, the Downeast Cider House is a really cool place to check out if you like cider. Their taproom is dog friendly and only serves flights, which is great because you can taste multiple things! It’s located right in the shipyard a short walk from the Hyatt or a ten-ish minute walk from MBTA Blue Line Maverick station. They also have a dog-friendly outdoor pop-up through the end of October with an amazing view of the city and draft or canned cider available.

Santarpio’s Pizza

Evan hails Santarpio’s as the best pizza in Boston (disclaimer: Evan’s pizza scale goes from New Haven to nothing, so if you aren’t New Haven, you’re nothing). That said, I’ve had it and it’s pretty good!

The Tall Ship

The Tall Ship is the place to be on weekends in the summer - the line wraps around the block! Only a small portion of the place is actually a ship, the rest is a large pier with food pop-ups in old shipping containers and all kinds of different drink stands (beer, frozen drinks, cocktails, etc). It’s got the best view of the city and sometimes there’s live music or a DJ. Check their instagram - on weekend mornings you might find a yoga or pilates class!

Cunard Tavern

Cunard Tavern has decent food although their vegetarian options have not been as plentiful as I would like. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as a roof deck with trivia on Wednesdays!

Aloe Natural Acai & Coffee Shop

We’ve only been here once with Evan’s parents but our food & drinks were good and we pass it on mornings when we run! It’s located in the shipyard near the hotel or MBTA Blue Line Maverick station.

Fast Food

Taco Bell and Burger King are right at the MBTA Blue Line Maverick Station Sometimes you’ll find a Chick-Fil-A food truck there, and there is always a Columbian food truck there. McDonalds is about a ten minute walk up from the train station.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Make it stand out.
