The One with Game Night

Evan was talking to me about his day working at the cafe, he worked there part time when we first met, and I asked if we had ever talked about why he liked board games so much. To my surprise, he gave the same answer I always do! They bring people together - they’re the perfect activity to do with friends (+ family) because they force you to get together, talk, and have fun!

Evan’s friends are really important to him and he was very quick to invite me to game night to meet all of them - just ten days after our first date! I met Lydia, Phil, Madison, Alex, and Caleb, and got to see Bobby and Lissy again! They are a great group of people and for over a year we continued game nights most Mondays at the Knight Moves Cafe!

We’ve now played games with friends and family in Michigan, Florida, California, on cruise ships, and at board game conventions all over the US! Our new favorite thing is to host pizza & game night at our new apartment!

Pro tip - never go anywhere without a deck of cards!
